FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-resistant elements of a body of a supersonic aircraft (AC), in particular to a front fairing of its body, which is an antenna shell, radiating elements of which do not have a direct mechanical connection with the shell. Method of making wedge-shaped radar-translucent front fairing of supersonic airframe hull consists in production of fairing parts from radiotransparent heat-resistant composite material, including upper convex and lower flattened shells, which are equipped in their peripheral parts with mating surfaces and places for installation of elements of their attachment to each other, and elements of their attachment to each other, includes fabrication of multilayer fabric packages from heat-resistant thread, their impregnation with thermoactive binder, forming packages on mandrels with curing of binder, machining of docked surfaces of fairing parts, application of heat-resistant adhesive on jointed surfaces of shells and places for installation of elements of their fixation between each other, assembly, gluing of parts of fairing and smoothing of external surfaces of shells of fairing using heat-resistant putty. Multilayer tissue package of the upper convex shell is made of voluminous braided yarn. Upper convex shell is made so that it is formed by the lower end surface of the peripheral section of the lower outer surface of the fairing, and its joint surface is made on the side inner surface. Lower flattened shell is made with increased relative to upper convex shell thickness, using fabric layers from heat-resistant thread of flat braiding and equipped with facilitating sampling of composite material made in central part from side of inner side surface. Its mating surface is made on the upper end face, with formation of its outer side surface, when gluing the cowl covers, central area of lower outer surface of fairing, and place for installation of attachment elements in shells are made after their gluing along mating surfaces, with removal of leading convex shell from front edge, in area of increased thickness of peripheral part of lower flat shell.
EFFECT: production of wedge-shaped radio-transparent front fairing of supersonic airframe hull with extended operation time.
