FIELD: supersonic aircrafts.
SUBSTANCE: wedge-shaped radio-transparent front fairing of the supersonic aircraft case contains the upper convex and lower flattened shells made of a radio-transparent heat-resistant composite material obtained using a multi-layer fabric made of heat-resistant thread and impregnated with a thermally active binder, equipped in their peripheral parts with jointed surfaces and places for installing the elements of shell attachment among themselves, and the elements of their attachment. The multi-layer fabric of the upper convex shell is made in the form of a volumetric-woven yarn. High-temperature adhesive is applied to the joined surfaces and places for installing the shell mounting elements. The fairing shells are fixed with fastening elements and glued together, and the outer surfaces of the fairing shells are smoothed using heat-resistant putty. The upper convex shell is made with the formation of its lower end surface of the peripheral section of the lower outer surface of the fairing, and its joining surface is made on the lateral inner surface. The lower flattened shell is made with an increased thickness relatively to the upper convex shell, using layers of flat-woven fabric, and is equipped with a lightweight selection of composite material made in the central part from the inner side surface, its joined surface is made at the upper end, and the lateral outer surface forms the central section of the lower outer surface of the fairing. The places for mounting the mounting elements in the shells are located at a distance from the leading edge of the upper convex shell, in the area of the increased thickness of the peripheral part of the lower flattened shell.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the working time, reducing the time and cost of manufacturing.
