FIELD: aviation and rocket engineering.
SUBSTANCE: used for the manufacture of radio-transparent power composite housings for high-speed products of rocket and space techniques. The method for manufacturing a heat-resistant radio-transparent power composite housing is as follows: the pressure vessel, together with a stiffening rib, is molded using RTM process from a composite, which is a thermoplastic based on an epoxy binder and a reinforcing filler made of silica fiber construction, the outer fiberglass shell based on a heat-resistant organosilicon binder is separately molded using RTM process, this shell is connected to the pressure vessel using heat-resistant epoxy glue to form a monolithic and sealed pressure vessel that maintains stable dielectric characteristics with a dielectric constant of not more than 2.96 and a loss-angle tangent of not more than 3.32×10-3 at thermal exposure temperature up to 800°C and resistant to high-velocity heat flow with velocity head up to 105 kg×m-2 and temperature on the outer surface up to 2000°C.
EFFECT: creation of a sealed radio-transparent power composite housing, protected from high-temperature heat flow and providing stable dielectric characteristics.
