FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering. In production of said device used is bulky sandwiched yarn of radar dome shell from heat-resistant thread with impregnation of thermosetting binder to shape said shells on mandrel and harden said binder. Thereafter, shell surfaces are machined and coupled with aforesaid body. Note here that radar dome parts are premade including shell upper and lower parts and connecting arc to make the dome front edge and coupling flanges at its upper and lower surfaces for upper and lower shell parts and elements of their fastening. At making of connecting arc, yarn ply lengthwise threads are laid in radius of dome leading edge curvature. Thereafter, radar dome jointed surfaces are machined, high-temperature glue is applied thereto for mechanical assembly and gluing of dome parts.
EFFECT: sufficient service life and good operating performances.
