SUBSTANCE: proposed are method and device for planning the flight area of an unmanned aerial vehicle and a remote control. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a plurality of sampling points or a strip-format geographic area information represented by an electronic map, determining an observation target pattern in accordance with a plurality of sampling points or striped geographic area information represented by an electronic map, and generating a flight area for a geographic area in the form of a strip in accordance with the general direction of the target observation pattern. At the same time, in the step of generating a flight area for a strip-represented geographic area, a trend line is generated along the general direction of the observation target pattern in accordance with the general direction of the observation target pattern, and a flight area for the strip-represented geographical area is generated, taking a trend line as a positioning reference.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of the unmanned aerial vehicle.
