SUBSTANCE: invention relates to units, machines, systems and methods for producing overheated steam. In order to produce overheated steam for the preparation of coffee drinks, a steam overheater is used in the assembly. The assembled steam superheater comprises a body having an internal cavity, a heating element containing heating surfaces in the internal cavity and a current trajectory in the internal cavity. The body also comprises an inlet which ensures the access of the medium to the internal cavity and an outlet which ensures the expiration of the medium from the internal cavity. The heating element heats the heating surfaces of the heating element. The current trajectory makes it possible for the medium to flow from the intake through the internal cavity of the housing to the outlet of the housing. The heating surfaces form part of the current trajectory. When the medium flows through the inner cavity, the medium is in direct contact with the heating surfaces.

EFFECT: invention enables effective production of overheated steam.
