SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production of block elements made of foamed polymer. The device for the manufacture of blocks of foamed polymeric materials contains a mold with a bottom and side walls that form a volume for accommodating a foamable polymeric material loaded from above for foaming during polymerization. Along each side wall of the mold is placed a sheet material made with low adhesion to the expandable polymeric material to form a separating layer. In this case, the thin-sheet material brought out in the upper part of the mold is connected to a shaft having a drive for its rotation for lifting along the wall of this thin-sheet material along the volume in which the polymer material is foaming, and ensuring the relative movement of the separating layer relative to the specified volume.
EFFECT: improved quality of the structure of the obtained foam blocks.
