FIELD: thermal insulation.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to a method for manufacturing a block of fibre-filled polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam, which is applicable for a heat-insulating board (30) for a sealed and heat-insulating tank, a system for implementing the manufacturing method, a block of fibre-filled polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam of a heat-insulating board (30), a sealed and heat-insulating tank, built into the supporting structure and to the vessel (70) for transporting a cold liquid product. The block consists of closed gas-accumulating cells (20) and has the shape of a parallelepiped with thickness E and width L, in which at least 60% of the above-mentioned gas-accumulating cells (20) are oblong or elongated along an axis parallel to thickness axis E of a fibre-filled polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam block. Moreover, the method includes the following stages: a) a stage at which (12) the chemical components necessary to obtain polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam are mixed, wherein said components include reagents for producing polyurethane/polyisocyanurate, at least one agent, a swelling agent consisting of a combination of a physical and a chemical expansion agent, and optionally at least one reaction catalyst and/or one emulsifier, wherein the physical expansion agent is selected from: 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane, 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluorobutane, 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoroprop-1-ene, 1,1,1,2,3,3, 3-hexafluoropropane, 1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluorobutene, trans-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene or a mixture thereof; and the chemical expansion agent consists of water, b) a step in which the fibres (10) are impregnated with the above-mentioned mixture (12) of chemical components by controlled distribution of the liquid along the width L on the conveyor belt, the fibres (10) being previously placed on the conveyor belt and amounting to 1% to 60% by weight, c) the step of forming and expanding the fibre-filled polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam, wherein said expansion of the fibre-filled polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam is physically limited by the walls of the double-line laminator forming a tunnel of a rectangular cross-section with a distance between the walls located on the sides , equal to L, and the distance between the walls located horizontally, equal to E. In addition, the location of the tunnel walls of the double-line laminator is determined based on the law of change in expansion volume so that limiting the expansion of the fibre-filled polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam leads to the volume of fibre-filled polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam exiting from a two-belt laminator, ranging from 92% to 99% of the volume.

EFFECT: efficient and cost-effective, and at the same time easy to use, industrial production of fibre-filled polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam, the mechanical properties of which in the direction of thickness are optimal.
