FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to electrochemical capacitors or capacitors with double electric layer with alkaline electrolyte, and can be used for development and manufacturing of electrochemical capacitors for vehicles. According to the invention, the method involves electrochemical anodic treatment of a steel strip in a bath with an aqueous solution containing an iron salt and chloride ions, washing the tape from etching products in the washing bath, electrochemical nickel plating in the bath with aqueous nickel salt solution, cathode electrochemical treatment of the tape in the bath with a solution containing nickel salt and nitrate ions, drying, treatment in a bath with an aqueous alkali solution, washing the electrode tape from the alkali in the washing bath and drying the electrode strip, electrochemical anodic treatment of the steel strip is carried out in a bath with an aqueous solution containing an iron salt, chloride ions, citrate ions, acetate ions with the following content of components (mol/l): iron salt - 0.3-0.4; chloride ions - 0.02-1.5; citrate ions - 1.7-1.8; acetate ions - 5.3-5.4, when the pH level is equal to 5.2 and more, the line is stopped and the bath of electrochemical anodic treatment with an insoluble anode is worked out to reach the pH level of 4.9-5.2 at volume current density of 50-55 A/l and the ratio of the areas of the cathode and anode 10:1, at simple process bath, working is performed with soluble iron anode with ratio of cathode and anode areas of 1:10 at volume current density of 50-55 A/l until pH level is 4.9-5.2.
EFFECT: reduced time of bath electrochemical anodic treatment correction, due to which there is reduced time spent on pH correction of electrochemical etching solution under conditions of prolonged operation and inevitable process downtime.
