SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production of gyroscopic equipment, and in particular to gyroscopic instruments used in information-measuring systems for the orientation of objects and control of their movement, for example, on roll-rotating controlled aircraft. The roll angle sensor based on a wave solid-state gyroscope with a metal resonator contains a metal cylindrical resonator, at the bottom of which eight piezoelements are located symmetrically around the circumference with equal pitch, and diametrically opposite piezoelements form four pairs, pairs of piezoelements I-I and II-II enter the first circuit, pairs piezoelectric elements III-III and IV-IV are included in the second circuit, electronics unit, demodulator. At the same time, an integrating amplifier is introduced into the electronics unit in the first circuit and an integrating amplifier in the second circuit, forming feedback on the angular velocity, a generator of sinusoidal signals, to excite a free wave in a metal cylindrical resonator. To ensure the start of the generator of sinusoidal signals, a key is introduced into its electrical circuit. In addition, an additional key was introduced into the electrical circuit of the primary circuit integrating amplifier.

EFFECT: increase in the quality factor and the operation time of the roll angle sensor based on a wave solid-state gyroscope with a metal resonator by more than ten times.
