METHOD OF OBTAINING COMPLEX LITHIUM TANTALATE OF STRONTIUM AND LANTHANUM Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC C01D15/00 C04B35/495

Abstract RU 2744884 C1

FIELD: chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of chemical industry, namely to a method for producing complex lithium tantalate of lanthanum and strontium, used as a solid electrolyte - one of the main components of a lithium-ion battery. The method of obtaining complex lithium tantalum lanthanum and strontium is characterized by the fact that the gel-like hydrated tantalum pentoxide, previously obtained by treating anhydrous tantalum pentoxide with hydrofluoric acid and ammonium hydroxide, is dissolved in 11% nitric acid, taken in an amount of 5 mol / 1 mol Ta+ 5 with the addition of tartaric acid powder, taken in an amount of 5 mol / 1 mol of Ta + 5. Add solutions of lanthanum nitrate, lithium nitrate and strontium nitrate, obtained by dissolving a stoichiometric amount of lanthanum oxide, lithium carbonate and strontium carbonate in 11% nitric acid taken in excess (0.05-0.15 mol). Maintain at a temperature of 140-150°C and vigorous stirring for 4 hours, and then subjected to annealing in three stages: Stage I - at a temperature of 380-400°C for 4 hours; Stage II - at a temperature of 650-680°C for 10 hours; Stage III - at a temperature of 780-800°C for 24 hours with re-mixing and pressing after the second stage.

EFFECT: obtaining a single-phase final product without any impurity inclusions and obtaining high-density ceramics by reducing the particle size of the resulting material.
