SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forestry machine building, in particular, to devices for wide-line sowing of loose seeds of trees and shrubs in nurseries. Seed planter consists of a frame, a suspension mechanism, a seed bunker, support wheels, a seeding unit, a seed drill, a box-type ploughshare and enclosing working elements. In lower front part of box-type shovel there is a bottom with slots, in which on horizontal axes of rotation there arranged are rollers with conical rim, which form grooves with compacted bottom and side inclined walls. At that angle of inclination of side walls of grooves is more than angle of seeds friction against soil surface.

EFFECT: invention increases germinating capacity, preservation, development and viability of seeds, as well as reduces variability of grown seedlings due to orderly arrangement of seeds on area of sowing furrow, their laying in soil grooves with compacted bottom and side inclined walls, improving capillarity of soil and water supply to seeds from lower wet soil layers.
