FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to medical engineering. The device for forming the unit of a suture material comprises an elongated body having a longitudinal axis and a first clamp which is capable of being secured in such a way that it is possible to release the suture material; and a holder having a second clamp, which is embodied in such a way that it can be fixed in such a way that the suture material can be released. The rotating drum is coaxially arranged over the elongated body, and the holder hovers around the drum. The holder is connected in such a way that it can be detached from the elongated body near the first clamp by means of spiral turns around the elongated body according to a plan for the formation of the unit, said device having a second clamp at one end. A method for forming a suture material unit is disclosed.
EFFECT: increased speed and reliability of the formation and arrangement of units.
