SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to embodiments of a bariatric clamp. In a first embodiment, the clamp comprises a first elongated portion having a first proximal end and a first distal end opposite the first proximal end, and a first longitudinal axis that is formed between a first distal end and a first proximal end of the first elongated portion. Clamp has a second elongated portion having a second proximal end and a second distal end opposite the second proximal end, and a second longitudinal axis, which is formed between the first distal end and the first proximal end of the first elongated portion. Clamp includes a curved portion forming a flexible hinge connecting the first and second elongated portions at their respective proximal ends. One of the first elongated portion and the second elongated portion is bent to conform to the curvature of the patient's stomach when the bariatric clamp is in the closed position. When the bariatric clamp is in the closed position, the first elongated portion is a curve that is curved from a portion of the second elongated portion, thereby forming a curved separation between the first elongated portion and the second elongated portion. In the second version, the first elongated section comprises the first substrate element and the first moulded polymer section. In the third embodiment, the first suture section has a recess or an opening passing through the corresponding element of the substrate. In a fourth embodiment, a curved portion comprising a third moulded polymer portion forming a flexible hinge, and the first seam section comprises a recess or an opening passing through a corresponding substrate element. In the fifth embodiment, the third substrate element of the bent section is located at an angle in the first direction relative to the first and second elongated sections, and the fourth substrate element of the bent section is located at an angle in the first direction relative to the first and second elongated sections. First elongated section includes the first seam sections provided in the first element.

EFFECT: creation of a bariatric clamp placed on the patient’s stomach.
