SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerosol generating devices and aerosol generating products for use in such devices. The group of inventions includes a set for an aerosol generating system, an aerosol generating system containing an aerosol generating device, and an aerosol generating product. The product that generates the aerosol contains a housing that has an open end. The housing contains a cavity to accommodate the substrate forming the aerosol. The product additionally contains a piston made with the possibility of moving in the housing in the direction of the open end of the housing. The aerosol generating device contains a cavity to accommodate at least part of the aerosol generating product containing the aerosol forming substrate. The heating chamber is located near the cavity for heating the aerosol-forming substrate obtained from the aerosol-generating product. The cavity and the heating chamber are arranged along the same longitudinal axis so that the substrate forming the aerosol can be moved from the aerosol generating product to the heating chamber by a straight-line movement in the direction of the longitudinal axis.
EFFECT: technical result is to provide a convenient introduction of equal amount of substrate that forms an aerosol into the heating chamber, providing the same user experience.
