SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerosol generating devices. In particular, the present invention relates to aerosol generating devices suitable for the use with more than one consumable part, in particular, with consumable parts of different types. The aerosol generating device contains a device case and a mouthpiece. The device case contains the first receiving chamber for receiving and placing the first consumable part, and the second receiving chamber for receiving and placing the second consumable part. The device also contains a selection element made with the possibility to be placed in the first position and in the second position, wherein, in the first position, the selection element leaves a channel of air flow through the first receiving chamber open and closes a channel of air flow through the second receiving chamber. In the second position, the selection element closes the channel of air flow through the first receiving chamber and leaves the channel of air flow through the second receiving chamber open.
EFFECT: obtaining an aerosol generating device.
