FIELD: aerosol generating devices.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a receiving area configured to receive an aerosol-generating product containing an aerosol-generating substrate, a nebulizer configured to spray an aerosol-generating substrate of an aerosol-generating product when the aerosol-generating product is placed in the receiving area, a fixing element configured to securely hold the placed generating aerosol products in the receiving area, and a controller. The controller is configured to control the retaining member for holding the aerosol-generating article upon activation of the nebulizer and to control the retaining member to release the aerosol-generating article when the nebulizer is deactivated.
EFFECT: enabling control of the retaining element for holding the aerosol generating article upon activation of the nebulizer.
