FIELD: technological equipment.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of preparation of equipment for safe opening for repair work, technical inspection of technological equipment (columns, reactors, containers, separators, heat exchangers), tanks for the transportation of oil products, liquefied petroleum gases and can be used for the same purposes during the operation of technological installations, tanks, containers intended for the transportation or storage of hydrocarbon products, when hazardous concentrations of gases may form in the interior of the equipment. The method consists of at least 3 stages: 1) non-reagent steaming for heating the equipment, 2) stage-by-stage reagent steaming, 3) non-reagent steaming for cleaning the equipment from residual amounts of contaminants and used reagents. Step-by-step reagent steaming includes dosing of the first reagent, which dissolves impurities and hydrocarbon deposits and neutralizes pyrophoric compounds. Then the dosage of the second reagent, which binds the hydrogen sulfide released by the first reagent takes place. After that the third reagent is fed into the formed steam condensate to neutralize the unreacted second reagent and the first reagent is re-added. The supply of reagents can be carried out both into the general collector of the process steam supply, and into separate collectors of each of the technological units and is carried out by dosing stations that ensure their uninterrupted supply to the technological lines.

EFFECT: high-quality preparation of technological equipment for opening before carrying out repair work and / or technical inspection with a residual content of explosive gases and vapors, as well as hydrogen sulfide, satisfying the requirements for safe opening and maintenance of equipment, while reducing the total steaming time by 12 or more hours (or 2 and more times), reducing the cost of water vapor, as well as the amount of wastewater (contaminated condensate) generated by using reagents.
