SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technique for the distribution of natural gas and can be used for remote monitoring and control of shut-off and control valves of a gas distribution network. The system contains a control center and modules for monitoring and controlling shut-off and control valves with controllers, transceiver nodes for information exchange, storage batteries with solar panels, a control drive for shut-off and control valves, pressure sensors at the inlet and outlet of shut-off and control valves, signal level recording units communication, battery charge, alarm status, position sensors of shut-off and control valves, gas flow measurement units, memory of typical gas flow rate by hours, days and months of the year, current flow register, comparison units of hourly and minute costs, first and second warning and cutoff comparison blocks, first and second presenters of warning and cutoff values.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving safety of gas distribution networks and preventing the development of accidents through predictive closure of shut-off and control equipment in case of gas pipelines rupture, violation of their integrity in case of unauthorized connections and an increase in number of leaks in case of corrosion and other damage.
