FIELD: natural gas distribution.
SUBSTANCE: natural gas distribution technology that can be used for remote monitoring and control of shut-off and control valves of the gas distribution network. The system contains a control centre and modules for monitoring and controlling shut-off and control valves with controllers, transceiver units for information exchange, a control drive for shut-off and control valves, inlet and outlet pressure sensors, position sensors for shut-off and control valves, gas flow measurement units, comparison units for hourly and minute gas flow rates, a controlled time delay block, a gas pressure comparison block, a smoothing filter, an inverter, a positive value selection block, the first, the second, and the third warning and cut-off comparison blocks, the first, the second, and the third warning and cut-off value setters, blocks registering triggering of warning and cut-off comparison blocks, communication signal levels, battery charge, and security alarm status.
EFFECT: increased reliability of generating warning signals on occurrence of emergency situations and reliability of closing shut-off and control equipment to improve operation safety of gas distribution networks.
