FIELD: lighting devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting devices intended for use in explosive and fire hazardous environments. The lighting device (102) contains a point light source (4), a housing structure for the specified at least one light source (4), forming at least a three-barrier protective capsule (1, 3, 7), containing an outer tube, an inner tube and a fully encapsulating central component inside the inner tube and providing complete sealing and isolation of the specified at least one light source and the electrical board and/or contacts from the environment, and a removable closing component at each end of the inner tube and the outer tube in the housing structure. The outer tube (7) forms the first protective barrier from the environment, the inner tube (1) forms the second protective barrier from the environment, and the central component (3) forms the third protective barrier from the environment. Between the inner tube (1) and the outer tube (7) there is a gap filled with gas, such as air, and the outer tube, inner tube, and central component are optically transparent, allowing light to propagate at specified wavelengths from at least one specified source into the environment. At least one of the outer tube and the inner tube contains optically functional means for controlling light, wherein the optically functional means are defined as three-dimensional surface relief structures to provide the required distribution of light.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the device in an explosive and fire hazardous environment.
