FIELD: video signal encoding and decoding.
SUBSTANCE: method contains a step of entropy decoding and reverse quantization over the video signal to generate a remaining block of the current block. Further, according to the method, the conversion skip flag is analyzed, which includes information about whether the conversion skip is applied to the current block, based on the fact that the size of the current block is smaller than the predefined first size. An analysis of the index is performed that specifies the conversion cores, which are applied in the horizontal and vertical directions to the current block, based on the conversion skip flag.
EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of encoding/decoding the video signal.
