SUBSTANCE: invention generally relates to containers, in particular to cans, for example, for drinks, to a container opening device, a container, a container closing device and a blank for a container opening device. The container is usually sealed and has a lid attached to it for sealing, the lid having a peripherally weakened area or a partially peripherally weakened area. The container opening device comprises an actuating tab functionally attached to the lid adjacent to a peripherally weakened or partially peripherally weakened region in such a way that actuation of the actuating tab between the first and second positions causes the area to shift or detach from its weakened periphery, thus providing an opening into the inner part of the container in use, and a pulling member attached or attachable to the drive tab to facilitate actuating the tab between the first and second positions. The drive tab and the pulling member are made of the same material, while the drive tab is more rigid than the pulling member. The container and the closing device include the specified opening device.

EFFECT: effective devices for opening and closing containers are proposed.
