SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in communication systems. For this, harmonic signals with different frequencies (N frequencies) are transmitted sequentially in time as an information symbol. The duration of each signal is set so that the reflected signal is not "superimposed" on the signal of the same frequency arriving through the main channel. The additive mixture of signal and noise arriving at the input of the receiver is converted into digital form. N groups of samples are formed, while the first group is formed in the time interval (0 - t c1, here 0 corresponds to the beginning of the symbol, t1 is the duration of the first signal), the first group includes samples that are taken with a frequency equal to twice the frequency of the first signal , the second group is formed in the time interval (tc1 - t2), the second group includes the samples taken with a frequency equal to twice the frequency of the second signal, etc., the nth group is formed in the time interval (t(n-1) - tn), the n-th group includes samples that are taken with a frequency equal to twice the frequency of the n-th signal. After finding the values of the sums of samples for each group of samples, the obtained values of the sums are compared with the threshold, and based on the results, a conclusion is made about the presence or absence of signals with the corresponding frequencies.
EFFECT: increase in noise immunity of communication means in conditions of multipath signal propagation.
