FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to angiology. Before performing laparoscopic decompression, selective catheter angiography of the celiac trunk is performed. According to the results of angiography, an endovascular balloon catheter of the appropriate diameter is installed into the celiac trunk along its entire length from the point of discharge from the aorta to the place of division into the left gastric, splenic and common hepatic arteries. Intraoperatively, in case of violation of the integrity of the vessel walls and the development of bleeding, the catheter is temporarily inflated until the integrity of the vessel is restored.
EFFECT: method significantly reduces the risks of massive intraoperative bleeding, the degree of blood loss in case of damage to the vessel and, as a consequence, significantly expands the use of endovideosurgical techniques in the surgical treatment of celiac trunk compression syndrome.
