SUBSTANCE: for selective chemoembolization of pancreatic tumours, a diagnostic catheter is placed in the proximal part of the gastroduodenal artery by a pre-inserted conductor. A conductor with a diameter of 0.014-0.018 inches is directed into the right gastro-omental artery for redistributory embolization, along which distally relative to the place of arteries divergence, providing blood supply to the tumour, a balloon catheter, with diameter corresponding to the right gastro-omental artery diameter in this segment, is introduced. The balloon is inflated until the blood flow on the right gastro-omental artery ceases completely. Further, diagnostic angiography of the gastroduodenal artery is performed through the diagnostic catheter. When blood flow is stopped on the right gastro-omental artery, chemoembolizate is injected through the diagnostic catheter.

EFFECT: reduced procedure duration, reduced radiation load on the patient and intervention cost.
