FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding, namely, to methods for obtaining internal ducts by friction mixing welding in metal workpieces for the circulation of the refrigerant of a refrigerating machine. The workpiece is fixed on the machine table with fasteners. In the chuck of the machine, a friction mixing welding tool is installed, including a left-threaded collar and a shoulder with an end spiral. The collar is immersed in the workpiece material to the shoulder and the tool is rotated counterclockwise with a movement along a predetermined trajectory with a welding speed of 90-110 mm/min, a welding force of 1100-1300 kgf and 540-560 spindle rotations per minute. After obtaining the duct of the given shape, the tool is stopped and disconnected from the workpiece, and the workpiece is subjected to further processing. EFFECT: improved quality of the resulting internal duct of a given shape while increasing the strength of the workpiece in the duct area in parts of complex geometric shapes while reducing process complexity.
