FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of combined butt welding by friction with mixing of parts from aluminium alloy AMg6 and can be used in various branches of machine building for production of various structures. Substrate made of aluminium alloy AMg6 is installed and fixed on the support plate of the machine for friction welding with stirring. On the surface of the substrate in contact with the parts being welded, a zinc coating is applied in advance, which serves as a solder during welding. Degreased welded parts are assembled on a substrate without a gap and rigidly fixed. Rotating welding tool is immersed in the butt to be welded and is moved along the joint line of the parts to be joined, ensuring mixing of the material to form a welded joint and, as the solder cools, additional formation of a soldered joint. Tool is lifted and removed from the joint. Welding tool is used including pin made in the form of cone with height greater than thickness of welded parts by 0.3-0.5 mm, and support collar – shoulder with diameter of 18-30 mm. Substrate has width close to diameter of shoulder and length equal to length of butt joint increased by length of lead-in and outlet planks.
EFFECT: increasing bearing capacity of welded butt joint to the level not inferior in bearing capacity to base metal.
