FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for detecting Trichinella in a sample of tissue extracts. The method involves taking a sample of the test material, its mechanical grinding, centrifugation or filtration to obtain an extract, followed by an immune analysis, including an immune reaction between an antigen and an antibody to detect the Trichinella antigen. Tissue samples from a mammal, preferably a pig, are used as a sample. The method is carried out under the condition that the size of 90% of the particles in the sample has a diameter of less than 300 microns, and the extraction temperature is preferably 40°С. The immune analysis is carried out, for example, using the ELISA analysis.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase accuracy of Trichinella detection in mammalian tissue sample.
