SUBSTANCE: method for preparing samples of oilfield chemicals for the determination of organochlorine compounds and organically bound chlorine is proposed, including taking a sample of the test sample, introducing a solvent, extracting chlorine-containing compounds from the extraction mixture with subsequent stratification of the extraction mixture into non-polar and polar phases, taking an aliquot of the solvent extract for subsequent analysis, and determination of the absence or presence of chlorine compounds in an aliquot of the solvent, when chlorine compounds are detected, repeated extraction with the determination of chlorine in the polar phase until the moment of complete absence of chlorine in it, when the absence of chlorine compounds in the polar phase is reached, sampling an aliquot of the non-polar phase for subsequent determination of the chlorine content in the non-polar aliquot phase.

EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability of the determination of the quantitative content of organochlorine compounds present in the reagents, due to the exclusion of the influence of inorganic chlorine compounds on the measurement result.
