FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for preparing samples of oilfield chemicals and determining organochlorine compounds is disclosed, including taking a sample of the oilfield chemical; determining the polarity or non-polarity of an oilfield chemical sample; in the case of a polar sample of an oilfield chemical, represented by scale inhibitors, scale solvents, acid compounds, corrosion inhibitors for aqueous environments, a non-polar solvent is added to the polar sample of the oilfield chemical and extraction is carried out; selection of a non-polar extract of a polar sample of an oilfield chemical; introducing a solution of silver nitrate into a non-polar extract of a polar sample of an oilfield chemical, ensuring an excess of silver ions until precipitation stops; mixing a non-polar extract of a polar sample of an oilfield chemical with an organometallic compound of bismuth; determination of the mass fraction of organochlorine compounds in a polar sample of an oilfield chemical; in the case of a non-polar sample of an oilfield chemical, represented by asphalt-resin-paraffin deposit (ARPD) inhibitors, ARPD solvents, oil-soluble demulsifiers, depressants, a solution of silver nitrate is introduced into the non-polar sample of an oilfield chemical to ensure an excess of silver ions until the sediment stops forming; mixing a non-polar sample of an oilfield chemical with an organometallic compound of bismuth; determination of the mass fraction of organochlorine compounds in a non-polar sample of an oilfield chemical using X-ray fluorescence spectrometry.
EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability in determining the quantitative content of organochlorine compounds, reducing the number of extraction cycles and reducing the volume of chemicals required to isolate chlorine ions from a chemical sample.
