FIELD: containers for reagents.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a container (100) for a reagent kit, which is integrated with a tank for waste material and is intended for use in a sample analyzer. This analyzer contains a liquid handling system that forms an integral part of the analyzer and has at least one inlet for the reagent kit and one outlet for the waste material. The proposed container (100) contains: the first tank (10), which has a solid rigid wall (10a), which defines a constant internal space (12), communicating with the external environment through the first hole (14), made in the specified rigid wall, and a second tank (20, 30, 40), impervious to air and having a continuous flexible wall, which defines a variable interior space (22, 32, 42). One or more second holes (24, 34, 44) are made in the specified flexible wall, and the second tank is installed in the inner space of the first tank and contains a liquid reagent when the container (100) is assembled. The container (100) also comprises a closing component (50) installed in the first opening of the first tank with a complete overlap of the specified opening when the container for the reagent kit is assembled. In the specified closing component the following is made: the first channel (16), connecting by fluid the inner space of the first tank, which forms a container for waste material, and an opening for removing waste material in the liquid handling system and capable of guiding the liquid waste material discharged through the specified outlet during the operation of the sample analyzer, into the first tank, and one or more second channels (26, 36, 46) for the fluid, connecting through the fluid one or more second openings of the second tanks and the corresponding inlet openings for the reagents, made in a liquid handling system and capable of supplying the sample analyzer, when it is functioning, with fluid reagents through the specified reagent inlets. The internal space of the first tank is additionally provided with a ventilation channel (18) made in the specified rigid wall, through which it communicates with the external environment through the gas medium, in order to continuously maintain a controlled gas pressure in the internal space (12) of the first tank (10) during the inflow of the waste liquid from the sample analyzer functioning in the operating mode.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at eliminating accidental clogging that blocks the initial flow of the fluid, as well as enabling more efficient, i.e. virtually complete, extraction of the reagent(s) from its (their) flexible tank(s).
