FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the study of hemostasis parameters. Sample testing cartridge comprises a sample preparation portion including a fluid processing unit; a sample testing portion including a sample retention unit, the sample retention unit, which retains the test sample in such a way as to excite its oscillations in order to obtain a resonant vibration response to the oscillatory excitation applied to the cartridge, and enabling observation of samples, the oscillations of which are excited by resonant vibration. Furthermore, the sample testing portion is connected to the sample preparation area through a fluid channel providing a hydraulic connection between the fluid treatment unit and the sample retention unit. Sample retention unit is attached to the sample preparation area so that oscillations of the sample retention unit can be excited independently of the sample preparation area. Also disclosed is the use of a cartridge for the study of hemostasis.
