SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of indirect heating of objects by an electric arc discharge. The method for manufacturing a plasma torch nozzle includes making a blank of a copper nozzle body with a conical socket and a blank of a heat-resistant conical sleeve made of refractory metal with a channel for plasma exit, placing a blank of a heat-resistant conical sleeve in the conical seat of a body blank and carrying out their diffusion welding, while using a heat-resistant sleeve made of a refractory metal, on the outer surface of the sleeve billet, notches are grinded, and diffusion welding of the nozzle body and sleeve billets is carried out by means of hot isostatic pressing at a temperature of 800-1030°C, a pressure of 90 - 200 MPa with holding for 1.0-5.0 hours. Also proposed is a plasmatron nozzle manufactured by this method, containing a copper body with an annular cavity for cooling the nozzle and a heat-resistant conical sleeve made of refractory metal with a channel for plasma outlet, which is fixed in a conical socket made in the plasma torch nozzle body coaxially with the annular cavity.

EFFECT: elimination of defects on the surface and in the volume of elements of the nozzle of the plasmatron, increase in the service life of the nozzle, elimination of contamination of manufactured products (powder, granules) with copper particles, as well as elimination of emergencies in the process of plasma formation.
