SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to orthopedic dentistry and maxillofacial surgery. A method of prosthetics for an atrophied upper jaw includes an assessment of the soft tissues of the oral cavity, exposure of the zygomatic bone and the introduction of zygomatic implants into the upper jaw. Preliminary computed tomography and marking of the zygomatic bone of the upper jaw are performed. Exposure of the zygomatic bone is carried out through bilateral incisions followed by the introduction of the following zygomatic implants into the upper jaw. Zygomatic implants are placed symmetrically to the sagittal plane, and the prosthetic structure is placed on the zygomatic implants. The zygomatic implant is made in the form of a rod with a thread on the outer surface, with a supporting slotted head and with chip-removing grooves at the tapered end, made for threading in bone tissues. The support slotted head has a polished side surface. The tapered end is provided with an end rounding. The diameter of the thread in the section of the rod at the supporting spline head is 0.5-1.5 mm higher than the diameter of the thread in the portion of the rod in the chip-removing grooves made with parallel holes connected by the generatrixes. The diameter of each hole is 1/2 to 2/3 of the width of the chip groove.

EFFECT: inventions provide dental rehabilitation of patients with complete or partial edentulousness by restoring the dentition of the atrophied process of the upper jaw.
