SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to compounds and pharmaceutical compositions based on them for treatment or prevention of a disease associated with Type 2 sodium-glucose cotransporter, and can be used in medicine. Compound of formula (I) is proposed:

wherein R₁ represents H, halogen, C₁-С₆alkyl, C₁-С₆alkoxy, C₂-С₆alkynyl, cyano; X is selected from -СН₂-, -С(=O)- and -СН(-ОН)-; Ar is selected from substituted or unsubstituted furanyl, thiophenyl, thiazolyl, benzothiophenyl and benzofuranyl; wherein substitution means that one or more hydrogen atoms in the group are replaced by an atom of the group consisting of cyano, C₁-С₆alkyl, C₁-С₆alkoxy, halogen, C₁-С₆haloalkyl, С₆aryl or furanyl, thiophenyl, pyridinyl, substituted or unsubstituted by 1-3 substituents.

EFFECT: new compounds effective as an inhibitor of Type 2 sodium glucose cotransporter, pharmaceutical compositions based on them for preparing a pharmaceutical composition for treatment or prevention of a disease associated with Type 2 sodium glucose cotransporter are proposed.
