FIELD: medicine, sorbents. SUBSTANCE: method involves covalent immobilization of heparin with hydrophilic polymer. Immobilization is carried out by acylation of heparin with unsaturated acid chloroanhydride followed by its copolymerization with unsaturated monomer in the presence of cross-linking agent. Alternative method involves acylation at pH = 6.0-8.0, at 0-30 C, at mole ratio heparin : unsaturated acid chloroanhydride = 1:(10-50). Alternative method involves the use of acrylamide, hydroxyethylmethacrylate, N-vinylpyrrolidone as unsaturated monomers at their weight ratio with respect to acylated heparin = (25-90):(10-25). Alternative method involves the use of N,N-methylene-bis-acrylamide, acrylic or methacrylic acid diesters as a cross-linking agent and acylated heparin containing two or more double bonds in molecule at its weight ratio to hydrophilic monomer = (5-50):(50-95). EFFECT: increased capacity of adsorbent with respect to cholesterol and other heparin-binding substances.
