FIELD: computer technology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of computer technology. The technical result consists in improving the computation speed of the algorithm for automated question answering. A system for automated answer to questions containing: a semantic space composed of a corpus of questions and answers; a user interface designed to accept a question; a processor containing: a question decomposition engine designed to decompose a question into a knowledge domain, a keyword, and a focus word; question similarity generator, designed to identify one or more questions in a semantic space using a decomposed question; an engine for extracting and ranking answers, designed to: extract one or more answers associated with one or more identified questions from the semantic space; and identifying one or more of the retrieved answers as the best answer; and an answer refinement engine designed to refine the best answer; moreover, the modified answer is presented to the user through the user interface.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improving the computation speed of the algorithm for automated question answering.
