SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to aerosol supply systems and includes a consumable component, an aerosol supply system for generating steam using a consumable component and a consumable component means for an aerosol supply system. A consumable component for an aerosol delivery system consists of an outer casing, a plurality of solid aerosol-forming material elements, and a heater. The outer casing includes an outer wall extending between the first and second end walls to form an inner chamber. A lot of elements of solid aerosol material are retained in the inner chamber. Openings are made in the first and second end walls, allowing air to pass into the inner chamber through the first end wall and exit from the inner chamber through the second end wall. The heater is located in the inner chamber and is configured to heat the solid aerosol-forming material elements when used to generate vapor for inhalation by the user.

EFFECT: increased amount of aerosol provided when heated.
