FIELD: underwater shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underwater shipbuilding and relates to the design of underwater vehicles. The low-noise self-propelled underwater vehicle has a streamlined body with a power plant located inside it, which is connected to the propeller. The surface of the body is covered with flexible strips laid along the direction of movement of the apparatus and having mutual overlap in the transverse direction. The belts are made in the form of rings, which are closed by means of rollers through a tunnel that communicates with the pressure with the environment and is laid inside the body of the apparatus, and are also connected to a motor designed for synchronous rewinding of the belts during movement.
EFFECT: reduced noise level of self-propelled underwater vehicle.
