FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.

SUBSTANCE: topographic parameters of the arcuate corneal incisions formed on a femtosecond laser are calculated based on the use of the developed nomogram and with constant values of the diameter between the corneal incisions equal to 7.0 mm. The calculation takes into account the optical strength of the posterior surface of the cornea, depending on the direction of the meridian with the highest optical strength, followed by correction of the arc length of paired arcuate incisions as a percentage of the Donnenfeld nomogram data. With forward astigmatism - 70% of the arc length from the Donnenfeld nomogram, with oblique - 80%, with reverse - without changes and the depth of the incision, which is 85-90%.

EFFECT: method allows increasing the prediction of the refractive result of patients with a weak degree of corneal astigmatism, and obtaining higher visual acuity on the native cornea simultaneously during cataract surgery or at different times after cataract phacoemulsification with femtosecond accompaniment.
