FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to capacitive voltage sensors designed to determine the electric field generated by the current-carrying element of the specified capacitive sensor itself. The capacitive voltage sensor contains a supply electrode, a cylindrical housing screen, an electric field sensor and a layer of insulating material with dielectric properties. The specified electric field sensor contains at least the first inner plate and the second outer plate, made overlapping each other and connected to each other, and the specified first inner plate is made of an electrically conductive metal material, with the second outer plate being made of an electrically insulating material, and with the second outer plate made of an electrically insulating material is fixed relative to the specified inner side of the cylindrical housing screen.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the accuracy of measuring electrical voltage while increasing the strength, reliability and durability of the capacitive voltage sensor.
