FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: device for detecting loss of circulation comprises first and second detection elements. On the side wall of the first detection element there is a first groove for placement, made with possibility of connection with a stowing shaft. First signal transmitter and first signal receiver are located in the first placement groove, wherein the first signal transmitter and the first signal receiver are located opposite each other with a gap between them along the axial direction of the stowing shaft. First signal transmitter is arranged to transmit a signal along the axial direction of the stowing shaft so that the first signal receiver receives information in the form of data on the flushing fluid in the axial direction of the stowing shaft. Second detection element is rigidly connected to the first detection element and comprises a channel configured to communicate with the stowing shaft. Second detection element also has a second groove for placement, in which the second signal transmitter and the second signal receiver are located opposite each other on both sides of the liquid channel. Second signal transmitter is installed with the possibility of transmitting a signal along the central line of the second groove for arrangement, so that the second signal receiver receives information in the form of data on flushing liquid in the circular direction of the stowing shaft.

EFFECT: high efficiency of detecting loss of circulation during drilling operations.
