FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: capacitive voltage sensor contains a supply electrode (110/210), a cylindrical housing shield (120/220), an electric field sensor (130/230) and a layer of insulating material (140/240) with dielectric properties. The specified electric field sensor (130/230) contains at least the first inner plate (131/231) and the second outer plate (132/232), made overlapping each other and connected to each other, and the specified first inner plate (131/231) is made of electrically conductive metal material, and the specified second outer plate (132/232) is made of electrical insulation and at the same time the specified second outer plate (132/232), made of an electrical insulating material, fixed relative to the specified inner side (124/224) of the cylindrical housing screen (120/220).

EFFECT: implementation of the proposed solution provides for increasing the accuracy of measuring electrical voltage while increasing the strength, reliability and durability of the capacitive voltage sensor.
