FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical discharge machining and can be used for electrical stitching of small diameter holes of a wide range of parts, for example, perforating holes in blades made of heat-resistant alloys. The method includes stitching of holes with an electrode-tool by periodically applying pulses of operating voltage, coordinated with the imposition of ultrasonic vibrations on the working area of processing. Moreover, after piercing the holes, ultrasonic vibrations continue to be fed to the electrodes located in the obtained holes in the working fluid medium with a frequency of 16-44 kHz and a vibration amplitude of 5-20 microns, while the electrodes are informed of an orbital motion with an eccentricity relative to the axis of the holes of 5-50 microns for 1-10 minutes.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve surface quality of the resulting holes by removing the modified layer and reducing the roughness.
