FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of quantitative gas chromatographic analysis of chloroacetophenone in air by the internal standard method relates to the field of gas chromatographic analysis of halogenated aromatic ketones. The essence of the method consists in the quantitative analysis on a gas chromatograph with a flame ionization detector of air samples containing chloroacetophenone taken for an absorption solution, namely isopropyl alcohol, in an absorption device with a porous glass plate, and calculating its mass concentration using the relative calibration coefficient for the internal the standard in which diphenyl is used.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at effectiveness of isopropyl alcohol, providing a high degree of absorption of chloroacetophenone from the air, and its low hazard (hazard class 3), no need for a state standard sample or chemically pure chloroacetophenone for calibration of the device.
