FIELD: wireless data transmission networks.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless data transmission networks. The element is added to the radio access capabilities (20) transmitted from the UE (10) to indicate, regardless of release, whether a particular network signaling parameter (e.g. NS value) has been modified, or whether a new parameter has been introduced for the operating band. Thus, the base station (30) can distinguish the UE (10) with the behavior of the modified NS value from the existing UE (10) in order to control access, impose scheduling or restrictions on the transmission of the mobile terminal.
EFFECT: possibility of re-using operating bands by eliminating the need to define new operating bands.
