SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of communications. A method for distributing resources between the first network node associated with the first radio access technology (RAT) and the second network node associated with the second RAT includes determining by the first network node one or more resources from a lot of resources for use by the second network node. Many resources are represented by a bit string. The message is sent to the second network node. The message includes a bit string that indicates one or more resources for use by the second network node.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the presentation of radio resource distribution indicators for exchange by base stations belonging to two different radio access technologies (RATs) operating in a spectrum sharing scenario.
