FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical industry and can be used in the manufacture of light-emitting devices, such as lighting devices, as well as display elements, fluorescent tubes, security systems, and visualization or diagnostics systems. The luminescent material is characterized by the following formula:
in which М' is monatomic cation Li, K, Rb; or a combination of at least two cations of alkali metals containing 0-98 mol. % of Na cation; М'' is a trivalent monoatomic cation of an element selected from В, Al, Ga, Cr, Mn, Fe, Со, Ni и Cu, or any combination thereof; М''' is a monoatomic cation of an element selected from Si, Ge, Zn, N, As и Ga, or any combination thereof; X is an anion of an element selected from F, Cl, Br и I, or any combination thereof; or X is missing; X' is an anion of an element selected from Group 16 of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, or any combination thereof, or X' is missing; M'''' is a cation of an element selected from Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Со, Ni, Cu и Zn, or any combination thereof, provided X and/or X' is present. For example, the luminescent material represented by the Formula (I) is (Li,Na)8(AlSi)6O24(Cl,S)2:Ti, (Na,K)8(AlSi)6O24(Cl,S)2:Ti or (Na,Rb)8(AlSi)6O24(Cl,S)2:Ti.
EFFECT: specified luminescent material does not contain expensive rare-earth elements and environmentally hazardous heavy metals, emits white light and provides a long-lasting glow - for at least 50 hours.
