Disclosed is a method of introducing laser radiation into a fiber, through which laser radiation is introduced into the fiber using a block of gradient rod lenses located in front of the fiber, each of the gradient rod lenses is connected to one of the outputs of the Y-branch, and the outputs of all Y-branches are then combined into one connected to the light guide, and the diameter of the laser beam and the diameter of the gradient rod lens unit are chosen to be equal. The device for implementing the method of introducing laser radiation into the light guide includes a laser, a lens and a light guide installed in series on one optical axis and optically coupled, while a block of gradient rod lenses is used as a lens, Y-branching is additionally introduced, each of the gradient rod lenses is connected to the input Y-branch, the outputs of which are also combined through Y-branches and connected to the light guide, the gradient rod lens unit, the Y-branches and the light guide are located close to each other, the geometric center of the rod lens unit is located on the axis of the laser beam, and the front surface of the rod lens unit perpendicular to the laser beam, the diameter of the laser beam and the diameter of the gradient rod lens unit being chosen to be equal.

EFFECT: simplification and improvement of the reliability of the system for introducing laser radiation into optical fibers.
